Conversational Media

I seem to find myself drawn toward certain blogs that are discussing conversational media these days. As I discussed the other days, the best way to draw people into your own conversation, and thereby create new conversations, is to post honestly.

When you write posts from what you know and what you think, visitors can sense that and are more willing to play their role in the blogging experience. They’ll be more willing to comment, to share their own thoughts, to take the conversation on to their own blogs and further it there. It becomes this web of shared knowledge with everyone contributing a bit of knowledge.

When you invite this honest conversation, it helps draw more people in because they want to see the conversation, too. Far healthier way to bring in traffic than keyword saturation, don’t you think?
